Registration

  • How can I register my child for elev8 2009?
    Registrations can be made online at www.elev8conference.org.au, in person at C3 Oxford Falls, Centrewest or God in the City by filling out a registration form and handing it at the information stand on the weekend, or reception on weekdays. You can also download the form from www.ccc.org.au/presence and fax it to 99728654.
  • What age groups does elev8 cater for?
    Elev8 caters for children from 3 years old-11 years old, for Newborns-Preschool under 3 there is a Mothers and a Toddlers room available – an adult carer is required in these rooms at all times.
  • Can I register on the day?
    For quick and easy access into our programs on the day, please register before the conference. You can register on the day by CASH only at the Elev8 Registration Stand. Please arrive early if you are doing this, as we are not able to control how quickly the process will be.
  • How do I sign my child into the session on the day?
    You will be issued a barcode card upon registration on Tuesday 21st April. You can use this barcode to sign-in your child to each session. You will need to swipe it at the station outside your child’s room. When you swipe the card, 3 stickers will be issued. One for your child, one for you and one for your child’s room coordinator. Please keep this sticker with you as it has your child’s ID number and you will need it to collect your child.
  • When do I drop my child off?
    Child drop off commences 45 minutes before the afternoon and evening services.
    12:15pm – 1:00pm (Day 2, 3, and 4) for the afternoon sessions
    5:45pm – 6:00pm (Day 1, 2, 3 and 4) for the evening sessions
  • When do I collect my child?
    Child pick up is immediately after the service.
    Afternoon parent pick up: 4:30pm – 4:45pm
    Evening parent pick up: Immediately after the evening service
  • How will you contact me in case of an emergency?
    In the event that we need to contact you during any of the sessions your child’s ID number will appear on the main screens.
  • What if I haven’t received a confirmation email?
    If you have not received a confirmation email by Monday 13th April please email ink@ccc.org.au and we will send one out to you.
    If you have not received a confirmation email by Friday 17th ensure you arrive early on Tuesday 21st April, and collect your registration pack and pass from the elev8 registration desk, situated on level One.

 

Mother’s Room FAQ

  • Is there a mother’s room available for me to nurse my baby?
    Yes. A Mothers room will be provided for the duration of the conference
  • Where is the Mothers room?
    The Mothers room is situated in room 106 on the main conference floor, level one.
  • How old does my child have to be to use this room?
    The Mother’s room is for Mothers with babies aged 0-1 years old who are not yet walking.
  • Will I be able to watch the services from the Mothers room?
    Yes. There will be a TV with a life feed of the conference playing – come, sit down in comfy lounges and watch for any period of time you may need or choose to be in the Mother’s room. Access into the main service is straight across the corridor
  • Will there be changing facilities available?
    Yes. There will be a number of Nappy change areas set up for you to use. Please make sure you pack enough spare nappies and nappy bags for your child.
  • Where do I leave my pram?
    Prams will not be allowed in the main conference hall at any time during the duration of the conference. Please park your pram in the Mother’s room.
  • Are Fathers allowed in the Mother’s room?
    We suggest father’s use the Toddlers room next door.

 

Toddlers Room FAQ

  • Where do I leave my pram?
    Prams will not be allowed in the main conference hall at any time during the duration of the conference. Please park your Pram in the Toddlers Room “Pram parking Zone”.
  • Where is the toddler room?
    The toddlers room is situated in room 105 on the main conference floor, level one.
  • What age group does this room cater for?
    The Toddlers room is available for children from 1years old (walking) up to 3 years old (not attending preschool)
  • Do I have to stay with my child?
    Yes. There must be a parent or guardian in the Toddlers room with your child at all times.
  • Will I be able to watch the main service from the Toddler Room?
    Yes. There will be a TV with a life feed of the conference playing – for you sit down in some comfy lounges and watch the conference while caring for your child. Access into the main service is straight across the corridor.
  • What will my toddler be able to do?
    There will be toys, games, books, colouring in and more to entertain your child.
  • What should I prepare for my child’s food?
    Please bring all food that your child will need with you.
  • Is there nappy changing facilities?
    Yes. There will be nappy changing facilities available in the Toddlers room. Please bring all spare nappies, nappy bags and wipes with you to conference.

 

Preschool FAQ

  • What age group is the preschool program for?
    The preschool program is for toilet trained children aged 3-5 who are attending Preschool in 2009
  • Where is the preschool program?
    The preschool program will be on level two of the convention centre.
  • Will my child be given food?
    Afternoon Tea and Supper will be provided for your child.
    Please give your child lunch and dinner before dropping them off.
    PLEASE NOTE: Although all food provided will be nut free, if your child has an allergy to any food, please pack some afternoon tea and supper in a bag for them and notify your child’s room leader on drop off.
  • Is there a sleep area for my little one?
    Yes. Elev8 preschool program has a sleeping area that any child wishing to have a sleep can use.
    Our night program will make particular use of this room – please prepare your preschooler as much as possible for sleep.
  • Do you change nappies?
    For safety reasons – our team does not change nappies. If your child still needs nappies, we recommend you use the Toddlers room.
    Preschoolers who still require a nappy at night time/sleeping time will be allowed into our preschool night program.
  • What will my child learn?
    Children at Elev8’s preschool program this year will be learning about the world around them (God’s creation) – through the theme “Jungle Jive”. See your elev8 preschool confirmation email for more info.
  • Will my child be with his/her friend?
    Children in the Preschool program will be in age appropriate rooms. (3 year olds room, 4 year olds room or 5 year olds room). There are times that all the children will be together throughout the day program as well as at the night program.
  • What do I need to pack for my child?
    Please send your child with a bag including a set of spare clothes, water bottle and any comfort blanket or soft toy.
    If your child has any food allergies please pack them some afternoon tea/ and supper.

 

Primary School FAQ

  • How old does my child have to be for the Primary School Program?
    Children attending our Primary School Program must already be attending school in 2009. Our program is for those children in Kindergarten to year 5.
  • Where is the primary School Program?
    The primary School program is in the Parkside Ballroom, on level One.
  • Will my child be given food?
    Afternoon tea and Supper will be provided for your child.
    Please give your child lunch and dinner before dropping them off.
    PLEASE NOTE: Although all food provided will be nut free, if your child has an allergy to any food, please pack some afternoon tea and supper in a bag for them.
  • What will my child learn?
    Day program: Your child will learn through exciting electives about the areas that are most impacting in their worlds; GOD (Bible and Prayer), YOU (personal Leadership and choices) and OTHERS (Friendship and Family)
    Night Program: The night program is called “Spectacular Spectacular” – through Live Praise and Worship, A Message and a fun game show (your child will be shown how spectacular God is.)
  • Will my child be with his/her friends?
    For a period during our day program, the children will be split into School year Groups due the different level of our electives. (K+1, 2+3 and 4+5).
    All children will be together for the remainder of the time as well as our night sessions.
  • What does my child need to bring with him/her?
    Primary School Children do not need to bring anything with them.
  • Can my child leave Elev8 by him/her self to meet me?
    Due to child protection laws, we will not be permitting any child to leave our service without a parent/guardian who has a pick up sticker.
